ABOUT

Julie is a graduate in interpretation of contemporary dance and in human sciences. After practising dance for a number of years, Julie pursued studies in Kinetic Swedish Massage® and Therapeutic Shiatsu at Kiné-Concept® in Montreal.

Shortly thereafter, Julie created and began to teach Wellness of the Massage Therapist, a training that aims to prevent injuries among manipulative therapy practitioners, by helping them to practice their craft with optimal body awareness. Many schools in Montreal, Trois-Rivières and Quebec City have offered this training as part of their program.

Julie has been a teaching instructor at l’Institut Kiné-Concept® for the class Introductions to Kinetic Swedish Massage® and she has also been a teaching assistant for the program.

Since 2003, she has practised Therapeutic Shiatsu massage, Kinetic Swedish massage® and Thai massage. Since 2006, she has also taught aerobics, massage and relaxation techniques, Pilates and contemporary dance. In 2007, she created Qinergie, a health services and chair-massage mobile business. Between 2010 and 2015, Julie studied osteopathy at l’Académie d’Ostéopathie de Montréal® and now provides services combining these new competencies as an osteopath D.O.

In 2017 Julie had the idea of teaching Wellness of the Massage Therapist abroad. Given her great passion for travel, she created Postures and Movements at Work, at the request of international establishments.

This training is an elaborate version inspired by the Wellness of the Massage Therapist course, allowing everyone to find tools for sustainable postural health. Today, Julie offers you a variety of treatments and personalized supports to help you take charge of your body to prevent injuries, improve your posture, and acquire a multitude of mechanisms to take care of yourself on a daily basis.
